Sync contacts with google account
The first thing you need to do is to setup a Google Account on your Android device. To do this, visit Google homepage on your phone or your desktop computer and click on Create Account (in case you already don’t have one).
Once you have established a Google account, pick up your iPhone and open Settings. From the Settings menu, go to Mails, Calendars, or Contacts. Tap on Accounts and then on Add Account.
This is where you enter your Google account information and log in. In this part you will be asked to choose the part that you would like sync. Make sure that you have chosen Contacts. If your iCloud is enabled on your iPhone, this method is super fast and super easy!
On your iPhone, go to Settings, and then choose Mails, Calendars, or Contacts. Tap on Accounts and choose iCloud. Enable Contacts there and you will receive a merge contacts message.
Now, go to iCloud website and sign in with you Apple ID. Select Contacts and tap on the gear icon. Click on ‘Select All‘ and click on the gear icon again and choose ‘Export vCard‘.
on the next step, go to gmail.com, click on Mail and select Contacts. from the More tab, click on Import, select ‘Choose File‘, then select your saved vCard file.
If you have duplicate Contacts in your list, simply click on ‘Find & Merge Duplicates‘ from the More tab.
Transfer Contacts with iTunes
If you already have a Google account, you can simply sync your Contacts from iPhone to Android.
Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB cable and launch iTunes. Select your device in iTunes and click on the info tab. Check ‘Sync Contacts with‘ and choose ‘Google Contacts‘ from the dropdown menu.
Once the Contacts are synced, login to your Google account on your Android phone and you can see that your Contacts are all there.
There are some third-party apps that you can use to transfer your Contacts from iPhone to Android. There are also some other methods to do so. But for sure the methods listed above are by far the best and easiest ways for Contacts sync.
