No worries! Skype has the solution for it that you probably don’t know. There is nothing much to do.
Just go to View and select Split Window View. Now, when you click to open someone’s chat, they will open in new window.
Kicking someone out of a group chat
Sometimes you have someone in a group chat and you want to kick them out of the chat. Perhaps it’s a work group chat and you’ve terminated someone and don’t want them coming back in the chat.
Toremove them, type /kick [Skype Name] making sure to include the forward slash at the start of the message and enter the Skype username instead of username.
This will kick them out and ban them from that particular group chat.
Here are some other Skype commands:
/showmember => It will show the members name in a group or even in one to one chat.

Skype has a great set of built-in emoticons, but there are dozens of more emoticons that you can’t access from the menu.If your move your mouse over all of the icons in the menu, you’ll see what the code for them is, i.e. (giggle) (h) (y) etc. If you type those codes in parenthesis you’ll get the respective emoticon.
But there are some other emoticons Skype doesn’t tell you about. Try the following for a little fun: (drunk) (mooning) (smoke) (finger) (poolparty) and (rock)
