How to find WiFi password
There are applications you can use to recover WiFi password on Android, but such applications require that you root your Android phone. If you don’t want to root your Android phone, there is an easier way you can use to find the password you have lost. In this article, I have decided to explain how you can do that.
Find WiFi password that you are connected to
The first method can be used if you are already connected to a WiFi network and you don’t need the password. In other words, this method is used when your computer is automatically connected to the WiFi network and the password is saved to your computer. So if you would like to find the password on the connected computer and use it on another device to connect, you will need to take these steps:
- Enter WiFi network settings on your computer (You can type down Network and Sharing Center on your start menu and press enter)
- Click to view the settings on the WiFi network that you are connected to
- Click on Wireless Properties on the opened window
- Choose the Security tab and then click on Show Characters
Now you can find WiFi password in the Network security key box.
Find WiFi password that you have previously connected to
The method I explained above to find the WiFi password on Windows can be used in case you are already connected to the WiFi network. But if you have previously connected to a WiFi network and you have forgotten the password, you will need to do something else. The solution in this situation is an application called Wireless key view which is able to find the password to all your previous WiFi connections. All you need to do is to download this application from the below link provided for you.
