Once you have registered for a Google account, you can download Google Drive and install it on your mobile phone to start using its service. As Android operating system belongs to the Google company, Google Drive app is installed on all Android phones by default. However, for any reason you might be unable to find Google Drive application on your phone. In addition, having an iPhone does not mean that you won’t have access Google Drive. How to set up and work with Google Drive
To use this service and to upload files to this cloud service, after creating a valid Google account and syncing your phone with this service, you will need to take the following steps. So, first download Google Drive and once done, these steps will help you to set it up and upload your files.
- Run Google Drive application on your phone.
- Tap the “+” icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- In the opened menu tap “Folder” to open a new folder and tap “Upload” to upload a new file.
- First create a new folder with the “Folder” option and then tap the “+” icon once more and choose the “Upload” option.
- From the opened window, choose photos, videos, voice, gallery or file manager and choose.
- Choose the file you want to upload or press and hold on a number of files to upload them all at once.
Please note that if the Only through WiFi option is enabled in the settings, you cannot use your mobile data to transfer files.
