Alexa is Amazon’s virtual personal assistant which has been around for about two years. Amazon keeps working on it and making it more and more advanced all the time. Now according to CNBC, Amazon is planning on releasing at least eight new Alexa-enabled devices before the end of the year.
What are these Alexa-enabled devices?
In fact, these new Alexa-enabled devices vary from in-car gadgets to microwave ovens. To be more precise these devices will include an amplifier, a receiver, a subwoofer, and an in-car gadget. However, it’s really not clear which devices will feature full Alexa voice control. Or which will simply be Alexa-enabled. this means that you can not give direct voice commands to all of these devices. You might need to control them through Amazon Echo by your voice.
Amazon company has already made a deal with home builders with the hope that people go out of their way to purchase a microwave with Alexa built in. So some new homes might already have Alexa built in, in near future.
